“EDIT TO ORIGINAL ORDER SENT”- WHEN TO USE THIS ALERT
Hello to All,
Just to clarify the alert “EDIT TO ORIGINAL ORDER SENT” is to be used when the order being processed is presently in the lab when you send the edit. It does not apply to orders already shipped and received at the stores. If you are making changes to an order already completed this would be a remake.
This alert notifies the lab that there is CURRENTLY A JOB IN PROCESS that needs our attention. We need to find the job CURRENTLY IN PROCESS and identify the changes/updates that need to be made and change the paperwork.
If you use this alert for an order that isn’t in the lab we divert valuable time from valid orders to orders that we aren’t currently processing. Hope this clears up any questions!
