MONDAY 4/15 COATING MACHINE STILL UNDER REPAIR

Great Monday,

Yes, unfortunately the preventative maintenance for our backside coating machine is not proceeding as expected. The machine is still under repair as of today. This means that all materials requiring backside coating HIGH INDEX, POLY AND TRIVEX will be delayed. These includes the orders from last week when we first posted the update. We can not bypass this procedure. No backside coat means no edging or AR coating for those orders. They can not be completed.

To give you a better perspective, as of today we have about 150 orders to be coated not including jobs submitted on Sat. The tech will be in today to continue with the repair. We will post an update by the end of the day.

In conclusion, the coater is down and we have 150 jobs to backcoat. Orders that are submitted today requiring backside coating will be delayed. Once the coater is up an running we will process jobs in order, oldest to newest. Due to the circumstances we would suggest giving an ETA of 10 days.
