NO TINTING ON TRANSTIONS LENSES S (ALL MATERIALS)

Yes. You have read correctly. All New Generation S Transitions in any material can not have a tint applied. No we can not tint the CR39 that is one of the materials. Unfortunately with the new formula tinting destroys the coating of the lenses.

I know this is a bummer for some stores and for patients. If the patient has had a previous tint please inform them that the previous transition lens design is discontinued. Discontinued means we can no longer receive those old lenses.

In conclusion, Transition S (new design) can not have a tint applied in ALL materials. Please pass this info along to all associates to avoid any cancellations of orders.
