Workers Comp

I am not sure why we are getting patients who are requesting that we sent their bills to workers compensation but we are. There are a lot of rules and regulations that go along with billing and being paid by workers comp. Any Apex patients who are coming in for a workers compensation injury need special approval. Billing MUST be contacted with the appropriate information PRIOR to seeing the patient so approval can be obtained. We CAN NOT submit workers compensation claims to regular medical insurance.
